Parker Institute’s Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Program helps individuals recovering from an acute disabling condition to improve their daily living skills through an extensive program of physical rehabilitation. The Program’s highly skilled team of board-certified physicians and rehabilitation professionals provide individualized treatment that promotes mobility, independence and the highest possible level of functioning.

The Program offers restorative therapy to those recovering from falls/slips, a cardiac condition or stroke, amputation, joint replacement, or other disabling conditions. Restorative therapy may also be offered to those who are experiencing either a decline in functioning due to a chronic condition (for example, arthritis or depression) or muscle weakness following hospitalization or a prolonged illness, such as cancer. In addition, individuals may be referred for therapy as a result of elderly driver evaluations.

Services include:

Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance are accepted. Outpatient rehabilitation centers will soon be opened in Queens, Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
