| Parker Institutes Landsberg Comprehensive Community Hospice Program is dedicated to the concluding stages of life. Its expert, caring professionals provide terminally ill patients and their families with pain management, comfort, emotional support and spiritual peace in a calm, loving environment. Patients can receive care at home or at a contracted nursing facility.
Comprehensive care plans are developed to m eet each patients individual needs. The Hospice interdisciplinary team includes physicians, nurses, social workers, clergy members, bereavement counselors, dietitians, therapists, and volunteers.
Every patient has access to a range of services and support including:
- skilled nursing
- physician services
- nutritional services
- therapy services
- spiritual counseling
- inpatient respite
- short-term inpatient care
- medical equipment and medications
- home health aides
- 24-hour a day on-call services
Bereavement services are available from the time of admission into hospice through the bereavement period to help with grief and other issues of loss.
Hospice care is reimbursable under Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance.
