On, Tuesday, April 5, 2023, the Parker Jewish Institute hosted a 35-year wedding vow renewal ceremony, for resident Philip Greene his wife, Emily. After the vows were exchanged, Emily sang Doris Day's "My Buddy," a song which she boldly stood up and dedicated to Philip, in a New York City restaurant, when the couple first started dating.
The ceremony and reception were attended by patients and residents, whom the Greenes have come to know, since Philip came to Parker during July, 2022. Emily told stories of the couples adventures and joked that her Parker wedding was much larger than their first.
Parker wishes the Greenes many more years to celebrate their love and life together.
