Parker Jewish Institute Residents Give Back for High Holy Days

Parker Jewish Institute’s residents embrace the spirit of giving. As the High Holy Days of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur draw near, our residents have chosen to support a charity that aims to uplift the Jewish community.

During September and October, our residents are partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation to help restore forests in Israel. In recent years, wildfires fueled by hot, dry weather swept through areas just west of Jerusalem. Planting trees in the Martyrs and Sataf forests is helping to restore these once-vibrant landscapes and improve air quality around the city.

To help raise funds for tree planting, our residents have hand-painted pots, now available in the Parker League Gift Shop for $2 each. We invite you to stop by and support their efforts.
