The Parker Jewish Institute Honors Margarita Sclavos for 28 Years of Service

The Parker Jewish Institute’s longtime building service worker, Margarita Sclavos, received thunderous applause from her teammates as she left the building for the last time, on Friday, December 5, 2025. After 28 years of service, she is now beginning her well-earned retirement.

Margarita began her career at Parker as a building service employee in December of 1997. A dedicated worker with a nurturing disposition, Margarita quickly established herself as a highly praised employee, beloved by her colleagues, as well as Parker’s residents, patients and families. Everyone knew they could always rely on Margarita, and they loved listening to her stories about life in Athens, Greece; her fondness for Christmas decorations; and even her delight in everyday routines, including doing laundry.

Margarita embodies Parker’s mission to provide superior, compassionate care, and she will truly be missed by all of us. We wish her a lifetime of happiness with her husband, children and grandchildren.
