The Parker Jewish Institute is ramping up the Halloween spirit just two weeks into October, much to the delight of patients and residents.
On Friday, October 16, 2026, participants listened to Halloween hits, such as Bobby Boris Pickett’s “Monster Mash” and Ray Parker Jr.’s “Ghostbusters,” while creating spooky stained-glass-style sculptures. They selected Halloween-themed stencils, which were then traced onto acrylic sheets and placed in frames over a layer of tinfoil. Using magic markers, participants added colorful touches to bring their one-of-a-kind designs to life.
